We turned the AC/heating off two days ago... yeah, we are a little slow. But, we have both been sick for the last week so anything slightly warm or cold was really warm or really cold. So, we left it on.
This morning when I got up, the thermostat in the house said 62... when I got to my car at 7:15 (yes, I was running late), it said 32.
Thats cold. And I don't handle being cold very well. I turned the AC off here at work this morning... yeah, it was still on. And still running. The thermostat here said 60. So, I just turned it off... thinking it would warm up this afternoon and I would wear my jacket this morning. But, someone just cranked on the heat... welcome back head ache and runny nose.
I lost my voice somewhere around last Monday afternoon and that evening. It still hasn't come back. I sound like the child of Betty Boop and Mr. Bill. (You know the commercial thats on right now? "The bus is right on time") If someone I know does not realize that I have lost my voice, they laugh uncontrollably (and point) as soon as they hear me. Its ridiculous.
I am back at work. I came in last Monday and stayed all day through what was a pretty awful day and went home not feeling so great. By Tuesday evening there were fevers. Tuesday morning there was no way I was going to work. I made an effort to come in on Thursday. And I lasted about 3 hours, then I went home and slept for 6 hours. I decided it wouldn't be smart to come in on Friday. I feel better now, but still not 100%. And with the heat running, I am doubting I will feel awesome at the end of this day.
well, hi there.
